Canoe & Kayak Trips
6 Mile Trip: Our most popular trip. You start at Mohican Valley Campground & Canoe Livery and canoe downstream to our stop #1 , where we pick you up and return you to your car at the starting point. Average time 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Please note, the last starting time for this trip is now 5:00 p.m. . You must be finished with your trip and back in our office by 7:00 p.m.!
12 Mile Trip: For this trip, we transport you up-river approx. 12 miles and then you canoe back to Mohican Valley Campground & Canoe Livery, where your car is parked. Average time is 3 to 3 1/2 hours. The last starting time for this trip is 3:00 p.m. . You must be finished with your trip and back in our office by 7:00 p.m.!
18 Mile Trip: This trip is a combination of the 6 and 12 mile trips. We transport you up-stream to the starting point of the 12 mile trip and you canoe downstream past Mohican Valley Campground & Canoe Livery to finish at our stop #1 . Our campers like this trip, as you are able to stop at our campground to take a break, eat lunch and then finish your trip. Average time is 4 to 5 hours. The last starting time for this trip is 2:00 p.m. . You must be finished with your trip and back in our office by 7:00 p.m.!
Please check with the office for Starting & Return times before Memorial Day and after Labor Day! You will be subject to a late charge if you don't return on time! This applies all season !!

For Your Safety and Enjoyment We Suggest:
1. Lock your valuables in the trunk of your car and leave your keys in the office. (If you don't want to lose it in the river, don't take it with you!)
2. Wear an old pair of sneakers or shoes while canoeing.
3. Wear your PFD while on the river. Children 12 and under MUST wear them at all times!
4. No glass containers.
5. Refrain from the use of alcoholic beverages until your canoe trip is over. Remember drugs and alcohol are illegal on the river.
6. NO DRUGS!
7. Don't litter. We will gladly give you a litter bag for the proper disposal of your trash at the end of your trip. Please, leave only your tracks on the river!
8. We reserve the right to cancel all trips during high water conditions or unsafe weather conditions.
9. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that is obviously under the influence of drugs or alcohol!
10. No Refunds on any trip once you are put on the water.
NOTICE: The staff and management of Mohican Valley Campground & Canoe Livery cannot be responsible for lost or stolen articles.
PLEASE NOTE: Our facilities include a group picnic area with a group size charcoal grill, shower house, picnic pavilion, and volleyball court, which you are welcome to use at no additional charge when you canoe with us.
