Green on the river pole means that we are in the NORMAL range for canoeing.

Yellow-Green means that we are experiencing higher than normal water conditions and we are running with full restrictions. Full restrictions mean -- You MUST BE a VERY EXPERIENCED CANOER - EVERYONE MUST WEAR PFD - NO NON-SWIMMERS, NO COOLERS - NO CHILDREN under 12 years of age.

Red means that we are above safe levels for canoeing and the river is closed!

Please note: The Mohican River Dams are controlled by the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the river conditions can change rapidly!
